Best Month: September | Worst Month: July

I was supposed to write this post on December 31 but I was too busy doing nothing. Haha!

Chamber of Secrets turns 15 today!

COS

July 2, 1998: Fifteen years ago today, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (book) was published in the UK.

This is the second installment of the Harry Potter series. This is my favorite book in the series. I don’t know why. Maybe because this was the first HP book that I’ve read. Hihi. I’ve read this for I don’t know how many times already. (Confession: I’ve read the whole series for so many times because reading just one book just doesn’t feel right. :D)

Let me share some of my favorite quotes from this wonderful book.

“It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” – Albus Dumbledore

“Harry — I think I’ve just understood something! I’ve got to go to the library!” – Hermione
What does she understand?” – Harry
“Loads more than I do,” -Ron
“But why’s she got to go to the library?” – Harry
“Because that’s what Hermione does. When in doubt, go to the library.” – Ron

“Beds empty! No note! Car gone! You could have died, you could have been seen, you could have lost your father his job.” – Molly Weasley

“What exactly is the function of a rubber duck?” – Arthur Weasley

“Scared?”  – Draco Malfoy
“You wish.” – Harry Potter

“Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it.” – Albus Dumbledore

I so love this book. Have you read this? :)
